Platform Upgrades & Paid API
- Paid API: Added developer access with per-account state coverage, OAuth client credentials, usage limits, API documentation, and request activity views.
- Guest Accounts: Added free guest registration with email verification. Verified guests can favorite conveyances and enable certificate, permit, and inspection reminders from their account menu or Favorites Dashboard.
- Favorites: Added favorite stars across state and AHJ table and unified views, persistent saved-star highlighting, a combined cross-state dashboard, and verified record links so each saved favorite opens the exact conveyance that was selected.
- Certificate Notifications: Added optional reminders for all verified accounts, including guests, with selectable 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 day notification windows. Administrators can also manage each account’s reminder preferences.
- Account Security: Added optional authenticator MFA for standard accounts, required MFA for administrators, recovery codes, email-based MFA reset, more reliable authenticator enrollment across site updates and restarts, and an in-account repair flow when an older enrollment needs to be replaced.
- Password Recovery: Added Forgot Password on the sign-in page and administrator-triggered password-reset emails.
- Version 3 Welcome: Added a smooth, mobile-friendly welcome experience that celebrates the new release once on each device.
- Modern Email Experience: Refreshed account verification, password reset, MFA reset, notification, and test messages with a consistent Elevator Database design. Email buttons and record links now use HTTPS, delivery notices remind users to check junk or spam, and server email settings save and test correctly when authentication credentials are left blank.
- Account Administration: Rebuilt the account directory into a cleaner, collapsed management view with account search, sorting, pagination, page-size controls, expandable details, clear filters, and filters for role, active status, email verification, MFA, paid API access, and certificate reminders. Filter selections are retained on the device.
- State & AHJ Maps — Coming soon: Added an administrator preview of the upcoming map experience with clustered locations, manufacturer details, and links to full conveyance records. Map controls remain greyed out and nonclickable for non-administrators.
- Web Scraper Data: Added a standalone evidence module with its own SQL tables, background scraper, YouTube and website source ingestion, property/equipment extraction, automatic links to existing conveyance records, administrator review, and a public approved-evidence browser. Third-party evidence never overwrites official jurisdiction records.
- Reports & Search Pages: Refreshed reports to match the new site theme and centered sponsored banners across conveyance result views.
- Search & Sharing: Improved public page titles, descriptions, canonical links, search-engine discovery, and social sharing previews across the site.
- Texas Sponsorship: Removed the previous Texas sponsor placement and restored the standard available-advertising placeholder.
- Pennsylvania: Added the Pennsylvania Table View (Alpha).
- Pennsylvania: Added the Pennsylvania Monthly View to improve loading performance.
- Unified Version: Added Pennsylvania (Alpha).
